WIDGETS Widgets Meaning: Unknown or forgotten name or device. How we got our name and what we are about I did a lot of research on names. I asked family, friends and surfed the Internet. I was looking for something warm and fuzzy. Nothing I could find gave me that feeling. What I did find were articles on daycares. About how hard and unfair they are for kids. How parents think it is more important to go to work than stay at home with their children. In my opinion this is wrong. I’ve been there. The way things are these days, parents don’t have a lot of options and need to work so they can provide for their families. That is how Widget came to be. Forget the warm and fuzzy name. It’s all about how I can make you, the parents, feel warm and fuzzy about my daycare. After all what’s in a name if you can’t leave them at a safe place with someone you feel good about. Someone you trust. I can’t replace you but I can make sure your children get a lot of attention and care and not just leave them to entertain themselves . After a hard, exhausting day at work the last thing you want to do is pick up your child - unhappy, unruly, and just plain bored because there wasn’t enough stimulation and quality time for them during the day. You are doing your best! Let me try and help with the rest. |
