| Welcome! Dear Parent, I want to thank you for considering Widgets Daycare for your childcare needs. I offer a loving, safe, and educational environment for your child to grow, learn and play. Our curriculum is always developmentally appropriate and designed to stimulate and engage a child's natural curiosity. All curriculum's are intended to promote success and advancement, be non-competitive and include an anti-bias and multi-cultural components to promote understanding and acceptance of all people throughout the world. Curriculum topics are geared toward interests of the children through open ended discussions and educational components provided by our daycare. I can understand how difficult it can be for working parents to balance all of their commitments and responsibilities in their lives. For this reason I strive to offer a program that will enrich your child’s development while putting your mind at ease. I will do my best to assist your child in developing important values such as: good manners, caring, sharing, patience responsibility, as well as communication and teamwork. I believe that children learn best through play, and we will implement these important values throughout our day. I also offer preschool activities such as learning the alphabet, shapes, colors, numbers; we also work on name recognition. Also from time to time I might ask you to bring things for crafts or things we might need during the holiday seasons. If you have things you would like to donate, that would be great too. |
